 The XTERRA Dirty and theDIRTYtri Sprint will be taking place at Canyon Lake Park. The park is located near the larger cities of both Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Athletes can click on the globe to utilize a MapQuest link and appropriately insert your location at the bottom of the page to identify directions to the race site. Athletes flying in should include the name of the airport they are flying in to. There are several options for athletes with respect to sleeping accomodations. Click the bedroom sign and note what MapQuest has identified around the Canyon Lake area. Once atheletes arrive at Canyon Lake (turning onto Canyon Lake Road) the transition and start/finish will be located at the Canyon Lake shelter immediately on your right. If you proceed all the way into the park where you come upon the ranger station, you have gone too far. Please do not turn up the drive and park at the shelter because any cars in that area, with the exception of race vehicles, will NOT be allowed to leave until every athelete is off the course. Athletes can park along the road and across the street from the shelter at the Canyon Lake Beach area. There are a number of options for out-of-town athletes looking for a bike shop to ship their bikes to for assembly and tuning as well as for re-packing and shipping for the return. Once we secure our bike store sponsor, we will post that info.
